Offering deskside support services as an integrated resource
Rico Technology Services can provide deskside support engineers as an integrated resource within your IT support team. These engineers are usually based on a single site or shared across a number of nearby locations. Their work includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment (including, but not limited to, PC, laptops, terminals, printers and scanners). The deskside support resource will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
Our engineers have a wide and varied experience across a range of equipment and solutions and are backed by our in house technical support team.
All deskside support engineers go through a rigorous pre-employment screening process and are CRB/DBS checked to ensure you always get the best service.
Holiday and Sickness Cover
With our deskside support services, we can also cross-train and accredit nearby field engineers so they are familiar with your site and working practices. They are then available as a backfill resource to cover holidays and sickness. This provides a smooth and seamless service, all year round.
Campus Deskside Support
Our campus, onsite deskside support provides:
- Engineers trained and inducted to the customer’s site
- Provision of “IT service bars”
- Vetted and PES screened engineers
- Optional backfill to cover holidays and sickness
